The Lucky So & Sos entertain audiences around the Washington, DC area with their unique mix of jazz, funk, soul, latin and hip-hop
Drawing on the rich and diverse musical cultures of the DC region, the Lucky So & Sos cover a wide range of classic songs from Gil Scott-Heron to J Dilla, and play original music that combines different jazz styles with hip hop.

The band came together as a Flashband at in 2015, a gathering of musicians from disparate backgrounds in a one-time performance. That one-time experience turned into an ongoing project, evolving its personnel and sound over the years. The current lineup includes accomplished musicians from across the region, with experience in many styles and traditions,
